John Bufvers scrapbooks, 1914-1970 (bulk 1963-1968).

The John Bufvers scrapbooks are a set of spiral bound notebooks covered in cellophane containing general newspaper clippings pertaining chiefly to Swedish-American and Swedish matters, as well as Northwest wildlife. The volumes, which have a variety of numbering schemes, appear to have been compiled mainly during the mid-1960s and are partly indexed. Many of the items are annotated in ink by Bufvers. A single book (volume 16) contains photocopies of illustrations and a typescript of a piece on Swedish miners in Alaska, most likely written by Bufvers.
